ZONE CONFERENCE AND BOOK OF MORMON CHALLENGE!
June 16, 2014
Hi Family!!

We met so many incredible new people from this and I know that our mission president was truly inspired by God to challenge us missionaries to do this! It definitely strengthened my testimony!

Sister Brewster and I have made it a goal to continue with this challenge and this week we hope to hand out 20 copies of the Book of Mormon. I know that as we strive to do this each day the Lord will place those who are ready in our paths. I know as well that so much of this work has to do with our attitudes as missionaries. As we go out, work hard, be obedient, and expect miracles to happen, they will happen. I'm so excited and ready to see those miracles happen.
We had interviews with our mission president as well this week! I absolutely love interviews and the time that I have to sit down and learn new things from my mission president. He has truly been called of God to be our mission president! I know that he was inspired by God to put Sister Brewster and I together! I have already learned so much from her and I just know that she is exactly what I needed at this time and has so much to bring to this area! We have just instantly clicked! We get along and work so well together!(Oh ya I think I forgot to mention in my last email.. She's from Phoenix Arizona and she's been out a year)
We had a really incredible lesson with Nichole this week! We really focused on recognizing the spirit and baptism. We invited her to act on the choice to be baptized. The spirit was so strong and we were able to set a date with her for June 28th! She expressed to us that she still has concerns and doesn't feel like she's completely ready yet, but she is willing to move forward with the goal to be ready for baptism by that date. We invited her to continue to pray, but to pray with the decision to be baptized made and see how she feels after she prays. We fasted for her this week as well and just continue to pray for ways to help her.
Eric is continuing to make slow progress, but he is making progress. This week he had only two cups of coffee each morning and has committed to trying to only have one cup of coffee. He also came to all three hours of church this Sunday! He told us afterwards how glad he was that he had made the effort to come and stay the whole time and that he really does see the difference that it makes in his day. We've moved his baptism date to July 12th. We are going to be working really hard to help him make this date!
As always I want you to know that I love being a missionary and i'm so thankful to be a part of this work! I know that the Book of Mormon is True and that it changes lives! I love you all and miss you!!
Love,
